Since the dawn of civilization Art has accompanied our existence, communities would gather around fires, to sing, dance, to tell stories, to celebrate - to connect. 

Connection is the foundation of everything and especially of Art. You must have a connection to yourself to bring forth an expression seated deep within you, be it music, dance, painting, poetry, food - the list is endless.
 
Aside from nurturing our creative flames individually, community and connection to others is vital for creative expression. Our lives inform our Art, our expression, as does the intangible, and there is something so disheartening about creating into the silence, the vacuum.
 
And that's why I created this space, for us to come together and devote this time to ourselves, our creative expression, and most importantly to share it, to talk about it as we so rarely do, or feel we don't get the chance to. This is the chance. I am alive for Art, as so many of us are, and it is one of my greatest  Joys to be in creative community with you.
